In Canada, over 30,000 paramedics and communications officers stand ready to respond to people in need. Each day as they perform these tasks with compassion and dedication, these same individuals are at high risk of being victims of violence and abuse.
It is for that reason the Paramedic Chiefs of Canada (PCC) issued a position statement stating violence against Paramedics is unacceptable and to that end, the PCC issued a zero tolerance position on physical and verbal attacks on paramedics and support staff. Click here to download position statement.
Peterborough County-City Paramedics (PCCP) hopes that you will join them in placing this downloadable PPT version of this decal in your ambulance. You are welcome to place your local service logo to the right of the PCC logo on the decal. Click here to download the PPT file for your use. If you need assistance inserting your logo, please click here to email us and we can assist you.
Simplified: If you would like to print the Paramedic Chiefs of Canada Zero Tolerance decal without your own service’s logo, simply click here to download the .jpg for printing.
Also, please see the Risk Mitigation Policy that Peterborough developed several years ago. This policy is intended to provide staff support and direction in “applying Zero Tolerance”. Click here to download.
