The Paramedic Chiefs of Canada, the Paramedic Association of Canada (PAC), and Defence Research Development Canada – Centre for Security Science (DRDC CSS) are pleased to announce that Greg Furlong, Deputy Chief of the Ottawa Paramedic Service will this fall assume the role of Paramedic Services Portfolio Manager with DRDC CSS. Greg brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this position and we look forward to working with him to be the paramedic representative in government promoting research and science and technology initiatives.
The Portfolio Manager will continue to deepen the paramedic community’s relationships with Public Safety Canada, Indigenous Services Canada, Health Canada, and the Public Health Agency of Canada. In addition, the Portfolio Manager collaborates with the United States Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology, as well as other research organizations such as universities and standards development organizations.
