Deb Trumbley is currently the BCEHS Director for Patient Care Delivery in Northern BC. This area covers over half the geographical area of British Columbia and not only offers some of the most beautiful geography in the world, but some of the most challenging environments in which to provide pre-hospital care.
Deb began her career in EMS in 1987, working in rural Alberta before joining Calgary EMS in 1996. During her 15+ years with Calgary Deb enjoyed roles as an Advanced Care Paramedic, Dispatcher, Staff Development Officer, and Superintendent.
While in Alberta, Deb had the opportunity to work as a Manager and Director in both Acute and Community care where she endeavored to integrate the paramedic profession into multi-disciplinary community care teams.
In addition to being an ACP, Deb holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Pre-Hospital Care) and a Master of Health Service Management, both from Charles Sturt University.
