Marc-André Périard is Paramedic Chief and Emergency Services Director for the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. They serve a 2000 square km area that borders the city of Ottawa and the Western border of Quebec. Marc-André started as a primary care paramedic in 1990 in the Ottawa area. He then served the City of Ottawa as an Advanced care paramedic until moving to Prescott and Russell as a Supervisor. There he was given the opportunity to become Emergency Management Coordinator and then became Deputy Chief of QA. After moving over to Deputy Chief of Operations, he became Chief of Paramedics in October 2019 and served as a Board member for the OAPC.
