When desperation and chaos threatened to overcome New Orleans in August 2005, one man stepped in to lead the city in restoring order and finding hope. According to New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, he’s “one John Wayne dude”.
Following 37 years of active service with the United States Army, Lt. General Russel L. Honore is an internationally recognized speaker and author on the topics of preparedness and leadership in the “new normal” world.
We are pleased to announce General Honore will provide the keynote address at the 2015 Paramedic Chiefs of Canada Annual Conference in Niagara Falls, June 3-5.
“It is easy to see why New Orleans embraced Lt-Gen Russel L Honore on that fateful August day in 2005. The manner in which he took immediate command and showed leadership and compassion to the residents is there every time he takes the stage to have a conversation about ‘Leadership In The New Norm’. Direct, witty, and passionate, he offers practical lessons on being a leader and how to get the job done. I promise you will find at least one gem – if not several – that will affect your life positively, both at home and at work.”
— Paul Charbonneau, President of the Paramedic Chiefs of Canada
